The HomeScores data elements are meant to provide a complete picture of the telecommunications usage/demand for each household. Most HomeScores variables are continuous probability (values from 0.00 to 0.99) models which indicate how likely the household is to have or need a particular service or to fit into a particular category. Another type of model estimates the household spending on each telecom service category (wired line, wireless, video and Internet) in dollars. Models can be used alone or in combination depending on the specific application and criteria you are applying.
Some of the HomeScores data elements:
Spending Estimates derived from Bill Harvesting®
Technology in household (fax, DVD, PDA, computer, HDTV, video game system)
LD calling behavior
Type of Internet access (dial-up, cable modem/DSL)
